The original plot was a confrontation between a police officer and the head of a crime syndicate. However because we only had one actor on set, we were left with no choice but to change the plot completely.
We decided to portray our head of the crime syndicate as a schizophrenic suffering from post-traumatic stress of losing a friend. Due to the condition, his mind created an alter ego without his knowledge, hence why he believes him to be a completely different person. A person who he believes is the one to have murdered his childhood friend.
